Cleary University Cougars compete in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA). The Athletic Department seeks to recruit, retain, and graduate young women and men and help them to successfully apply the leadership, teamwork, and discipline of their sport to successful business careers.

 

We currently field varsity teams in men’s and women’s golf and cross country, and soccer. Baseball and softball programs will begin in 2014 --coaches are recruiting now!

    Prowling Cougar Run set for June 13

    HOWELL - Cleary University's cross country team has created The Prowling Cougar 5K Run to benefit the Univesity of Michigan's Women's and Children's Hospital and the cross country team.

    The 5K and one mile run is set for Saturday, June 13 at the Brighton State Recreation Area. Registration before June 6 is $25 (5K) and $15 (1 Mile). After June 6 registration is $30 and $20. Parking for the event is $11 or free with recreation passport. The 1 Mile begins at 8:30 a.m. and the 5K starts at 9 a.m.

    Celebrate opening day at Cleary April 6

    Cleary University will celebrate opening day and the inaugural seasons of baseball and softball with a party Monday, April 6 at Parker Middle School (400 Wright Rd., Howell).

    The event begins at 12:30 p.m. and will offer fun and prizes and an appearance by Clancy the Cougar, Cleary's mascot.

    The baseball team plays a doubleheader against Concordia, starting at 2 p.m.

    Cleary baseball, softball make history with first victories

    FLORIDA - The Cleary University baseball and softball teams made history during their winter trip to Florida in February by winning their first games of their inaugural seasons.

    It took the baseball team four games to notch the first win, a 16-3 victory against Goshen University Feb. 25 in Winter Haven, Florida.

    The softball team also won their first game on their fourth try, defeating Davenport University 6-1 Feb. 26 in Titusville, Florida.
