Cleary leadership programs receives $25,000 community grant

HOWELL – Cleary University’s Leadership Livingston programs have received a grant worth $25,000 from the Community Foundation for Livingston County.

"We were working with Community Foundation of Southeastern Michigan on a grant for an art program for youth through the Arthur Secunda Museum. One thing led to another and we were blessed with two project-based grants, one each for the adult and the youth versions of Leadership Livingston," said Grace Farley, program director for Cleary University.

“Community leadership projects teach participants of Leadership Livingston and Leadership Livingston Youth how to apply what they learn from the training part of the program and from networking with other leaders in the county. The projects also give selected community service organizations a boost in support, expertise, and energy. This year's projects will be extra special with grant funding from Community Foundation for Livingston County,” Farley said.
