All-Inclusive Tuition Policy

Cleary University believes in offering a fair value exchange to our students and, to this end, we have adopted a tuition policy that bundles the total costs associated with the educational process into an all-inclusive package. Cleary University students can plan their college expenses knowing there will be no added fees or surprises. The all-inclusive policy includes all textbooks, which are shipped directly to students’ homes or workplaces.

Tuition Guarantee

Cleary University guarantees that a student’s tuition will not increase for up to 12 consecutive undergraduate terms if the student is enrolled for at least 8 credit hours (4 credit hours for the summer term)* and does not interrupt enrollment. For the graduate program, students must be enrolled for 6.5 consecutive terms for 8 or more credits.

*For purposes of calculating consecutive terms of enrollment for adult undergraduate and graduate students, summer term is counted as a half term and B-session starts are counted as a whole term. For traditional students, summer term is not counted when calculating consecutive terms of enrollment.

2015-2016 Tuition

Cleary University's approach to tuition is different from other academic institutions. No added fees or extra charges ever...and that rate is guaranteed not to increase as long as a student remains continuously enrolled (see above).

Payment Options 

Tuition balance equals full tuition less scholarships, financial aid, loans, and tuition assistance. Statements are viewable/payable through your student portal at You will need your student identification number (provided by your advisor) to access the student portal. 

  • Option 1 - Paid-in-full: Total balance due on account at the time of registration for that term. 
  • Option 2 - 50/50 Plan: A payment of one-half of the current tuition is due at the time of registration for that term. Payment of the remaining balance is due 30 days after the start of the term. The finance cost for this option is $40 per semester.
  • Options 3 - Three-Payment Plan: A payment of one-third of the current tuition is due at the time of registration for that term. Second payment is due 30 days into the term; final payment is due 60 days into the term. Students must provide a credit card for automatic payment processing of this plan. Account must be fully paid by the 8th week of the term. The finance cost for this option is $45 per semester. 
  • Option 4 - Tuition Reimbursement by Employer: New students are required to pay their first term outstanding tuition balance (through one of the options noted about) at the time of registration. Beginning with the second term, the outstanding balance is due six weeks after the term starts. Students who are eligible for tuition reimbursement by their employer must provide a deferment from signed by their employer guaranteeing payment of funds to the Business Office each term. Students are responsible for obtaining funds form their employers. The finance cost for this option is $55 per term. 
  • Option 5 - Tuition Voucher: If the student provides a tuition voucher at the time of registration, Cleary University will invoice the student's employer directly for the approved tuition. There is no finance cost for this option.
