Academic Services
Student Portal
The University provides a personalized Web portal for students to access information about schedules, accounts, registration, classes, grades, special announcements, and other resources. All University offices and services are accessible by Web site and e-mail.
Academic Advising
Each student is assigned an Academic Advisor. The role of the advisor is to provide a degree-completion plan for the student, monitor the student's progress against that plan, respond to questions regarding course selection or curricula, and to assist the student as needed. Advisor approval is required before registration. If circumstances arise that may affect a student's ability to successfully matriculate (health, employer-related issues, etc.) the student should contact his or her advisor as quickly as possible to address such concerns.
Academic Tutoring
Faculty are available as subject tutors during posted hours and by e-mail. Individualized computer-aided or multimedia campus-based and Web-based tutorials are also available.
Campus Centers
Library services and computer labs are available during most weekdays and evening hours in the Campus Center area. To receive services without coming to campus, students may take advantage of call-in/e-mail services provided by the Director of University Libraries, or help-line/e-mail support provided by the Campus Center staff. Copying machines are available in both Campus Centers for student use.

The campus center staff provides first level support both in person and over the phone when the campus is open (see the campus hours of operation).
