Cleary University Cougars compete in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA). The Athletic Department seeks to recruit, retain, and graduate young women and men and help them to successfully apply the leadership, teamwork, and discipline of their sport to successful business careers.

 

We currently field varsity teams in men’s and women’s golf and cross country, and soccer. Baseball and softball programs will begin in 2014 --coaches are recruiting now!

    Celebrate opening day at Cleary April 6

    Cleary University will celebrate opening day and the inaugural seasons of baseball and softball with a party Monday, April 6 at Parker Middle School (400 Wright Rd., Howell).

    The event begins at 12:30 p.m. and will offer fun and prizes and an appearance by Clancy the Cougar, Cleary's mascot.

    The baseball team plays a doubleheader against Concordia, starting at 2 p.m.

    Cleary baseball, softball make history with first victories

    FLORIDA - The Cleary University baseball and softball teams made history during their winter trip to Florida in February by winning their first games of their inaugural seasons.

    It took the baseball team four games to notch the first win, a 16-3 victory against Goshen University Feb. 25 in Winter Haven, Florida.

    The softball team also won their first game on their fourth try, defeating Davenport University 6-1 Feb. 26 in Titusville, Florida.

    Cleary bowling signs first player to women's team

    HOWELL – The Cleary University bowling program is on a roll.

    Stefanee Smith, a transfer student from Lansing Community College, has signed a letter of intent to be the first member of the Cleary University women's bowling team. Smith joins Tom Heiman, who is the first member of the men's team.
