AmeriCorps Matching Education Award
Being committed to the betterment of society, Cleary University chooses to support students who participate in the AmeriCorps National & Community Service program. Cleary will match dollar for dollar the Segal AmeriCorps Education Award up to $4725.
To be eligible:
| Students need to apply for admission |
| Students are encouraged to enroll full-time to maximize award amounts (12+ credit hours) |
| Students need to provide documentation of AmeriCorps Segal Award eligibility |
| Awards will be divided equally over the number of terms in a program of study |
Students can receive up to two $4725 awards if one is used for an undergraduate degree and the other for a graduate degree.

Examples:
A full-time student in a two year program receives $4725 AmeriCorp award total matched by Cleary @ $2362 year #1, $2363 Year #2 (divided over three terms per year $787 per term)
Students enrolled less than full-time, award amounts are prorated:
50% 8-11 credits $1181 (student must take at least 8 credits to remain eligible for a matching funds)
Student may apply for additional financial aid to cover remaining balance after AmeriCorp Segal Award and Cleary Matching Grant have been applied.
