Nand expands the view of economics to the global marketplace. Beginning with a solid base of micro and macro-economic theories, he zooms out to international markets and applies the theories to foreign trade and multinational business operations.

Domestic economies, now more than ever, are interdependent with international economies. Nand trains business minds to understand and eventually navigate through the economic constraints within which businesses must operate to survive and succeed.

Strategists, politicians, and legal and tax advisors all need this kind of understanding to think globally and to advise competently. With 15 years of Fortune 500 experience, Nand not only teaches business, he has lived it.

Nand received his BA from Delhi University and his MBA from Suffolk University. He resides in Jackson, Michigan.

Kimberley works as the Facility Operations Manager, UMH C&W Hospital Project/Mott Administration in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She joined Cleary University’s teaching faculty because of her love of teaching.

Although management and organizational development is Kimberley’s area of expertise, she also recognizes the challenges faced by healthcare managers that are distinct from other industries. Not only do these managers need to understand planning, organizing, staffing, directing, and controlling, they must also be attentive to the health and safety of the patients.

In 2008, Kimberley researched a solution to screening patients and families going from one area to another within the clinic. Her work helped reduce the spread of infection and improve security of thousands of children under the age of 16. Kimberley later published an article on integrating Visitor Badging stations into children’s hospitals: “Stop Once for Health and Safety,” National Association of Children’s Hospitals and Related Institutions, April 2008.
