Regional economic development, international business, corporate finance, senior advisory consulting, and community banking are just a few of the things one might find in Stewart Brannen’s curriculum vitae. He is also the director of the Cleary University’s Micro-Business Incubator (CUMBI), an adjunct faculty in Cleary’s Business Management School, and the president of Stewart Brannen & Associates LLC.
He was instrumental in the creation of the Livingston Entrepreneur Group United for Prosperity (LEG-UP), which consists of organizations such as Cleary University, Howell Chamber of Commerce, and the Livingston County Small Business Technology and Development Center. These organizations banded together to bolster and support the dynamic and successful growth of entrepreneurial activity in the Livingston County area. Their first meeting was held in October of 2010 at Cleary’s Johnson Center, just one week after Cleary’s Third Annual Entrepreneurs’ Forum.
Stewart currently teaches courses in business management, entrepreneurship, business plan writing, corporate and managerial finance, and organizational development.
