Cleary sponsors Howell Headless Horseman Run

Posted: October 22, 2013

Don’t lose your head, but Cleary University is a premier sponsor of the
annual Headless Horseman run at the Sleepy Howell Halloween celebration
Saturday, Oct. 26.

“We are proud to sponsor this great community event,” said Dr. Matthew
Bennett, vice president of communications and enrollment management for
Cleary University. “Cleary University is active partner in the community and
is the only four-year university located in Livingston County.” "This
region is well-known for its events and we are pleased to support the
community in this effort!"

Cleary will offer a Cougar-Lantern booth at the event where participants
will get a free Clancy The Cougar Pumpkin Stencil, candy and games. There
also will be a contest for the best Cleary University pumpkin!

If running for your life is more your speed, you can scream for your
favorite Cleary University cross country runner as they participate, in
costume, in the 5/10 K runs at 7:30 Saturday evening.

Even if you do not run in the race, you may want to purchase one of the
exclusive Cleary University Headless Horseman race t-shirts at the event.

"Look for the blood-red tent in downtown Howell and come by and see us.,”
Bennett said.
