Daniel Milstein ’01 is the president and CEO of Gold Star Mortgage Financial Group. Mr. Milstein is currently the number one ranked loan officer in the state of Michigan and is the number three ranked loan officer in the nation. Gold Star Mortgage Financial Group currently stands as one of top mortgage brokerage houses in the United States, and sits on the Inc. 500 list as one of the fastest-growing, privately held companies nationwide. Mr. Milstein sits on a number of boards and has received numerous honors including, most recently, being named to the National Mortgage Professional Magazine’s Top 40 Most Influential Mortgage Professionals list and Crain’s Detroit Business’s Top 40 Executives Under 40. Born in Kiev, Ukraine, he moved to the United States in 1991. He is a cum laude graduate of Cleary University, earning his degree in business management and finance. His term ends on January 1, 2013.
