Mark Cryderman

Biography:

Mark Cryderman is a renewable energy advocate and believes that renewable energy is important for our future. Oil and gas will run out. Wind, solar, and geothermal are now inexpensive and inexhaustible sources of energy. By tapping into the energy sources that are in our own backyards, we can cut our reliance on foreign sources. Renewable energy improves our national security and balance of trade.

Teaching in the MBA Green Business Strategy program, Mark fulfills his dual purpose of raising leaders in the emerging field of “green” and of promoting awareness and acceptance of sustainability principles. He discovered the perfect venue in Cleary University. Where most universities teach sustainability through engineering programs, Cleary teaches it through business programs. Cleary’s unique programs take a practical approach to sustainability from the management, sales, and marketing view.

Michigan companies building wind turbines or solar panels need manufacturing and logistics managers, marketing and sales professionals, quality analysts, and project leaders. Complimenting business acumen with an understanding of sustainability history, politics, and technology on a national and global scale will not only improve employment opportunities but will accelerate the US economy. Renewable energy technology will give rise to inventions, and entrepreneurs, who have historically fueled the nation’s engines of commerce.

Mark received his BA from Michigan State University and his MBA from the University of Michigan. He resides in Howell, Michigan.
