Bookstore

The Cleary University Bookstore serves the students, faculty, and staff of Cleary University with pride. The Bookstore’s primary goal is to ensure students and faculty have the course materials they need, while also providing many other items to support students’ academic career and to foster school spirit.

It is located in the administration building located at 955 Grand Oaks Drive in Howell and can be reached at 517.548.3670, extension 5515. The Bookstore’s website, which sells clothing and merchandise and also offers information on the book buyback program, can be accessed by clicking here.

Library

To meet the needs of Cleary students, all essential resources are available online, 24 hours a day via the Cleary Online Library and other web-based resources. The library website is a research starting point and a source for learning more about information services and serves as a portal for accessing the online databases in addition to providing links to additional information, including the library’s research wiki and the librarian’s blog. The University’s research resources are listed on the back of each Cleary student’s identification card.

Online Databases and Research Resources
Subscription-based databases are essential components of the online libraries. After logging into the library, students have access to business articles, reports, company information, legal information, market research reports, and some full-text books. A partial list of the resources available to all Cleary students includes Proquest, Lexis/Nexis, and NetLibrary.

Tutoring

Faculty and peer tutors are available as subject tutors during posted hours or by scheduling an on-campus appointment. Individualized computer-aided or multimedia campus-based and web-based tutorials are also available. Please contact the Dean of Students for more information.

Student Activities

Students are encouraged to explore new horizons for learning and personal growth. Cleary University organizes numerous activities and oversees various student groups that can help students meet people with similar interests while discovering a new world of opportunity. Activities include sport leagues, academic clubs, parties and trips to professional sporting events.

Commencement

Cleary University holds two commencements each June and December at the Livingston Campus in the Johnson Center. In addition to the conferring of degrees, each commencement provides opportunity to recognize outstanding students by awarding the following honors:

Academic Excellence Award: given at both commencements to the highest scoring students on the Educational Testing Service Major Field Test
President’s Award: awarded at both commencements
Entrepreneurship Award
Enterprise Award
MBA Leadership Award
Business Innovation Award
