David C. Hayes, MS, MFA

    In addition to serving as Dean of Undergraduate Studies, David Hayes teaches classes in communications, English, philosophy and marketing. Hayes earned a B.A. in English from Michigan State University; a B.S. in Psychology from Grand Canyon University; an M.S. in Forensic Psychology at Walden University and an M.F.A. in writing from National University.

    He has conducted focused research on narrative structure and the effect of fear in cathartic responses.

    Outside of Cleary University, David is a managing editor with Source Point Press’ novel division and is an award-winning screenwriter, novelist and playwright.
