Shelly Holanda joined Cleary University in 2016 and currently serves as Vice President of Finance. In her role, Shelly oversees finance, financial aid, and information technology departments. Shelly reports directly to the President of the university and is a member of the executive leadership team. She also works directly with the Treasurer and Finance Committee on reporting on the university financial statements, cash flow, budgeting, and strategic sustainability of the university.
Prior to joining Cleary University, she served as Controller of various small businesses over a 25-year career in accounting and finance. She has public accounting experience at a local CPA firm where she participated in the auditing of government municipalities, non-profits and small businesses as well as prepared corporate tax returns.
Shelly is a graduate of Wayne State University with a bachelor’s of science degree in accounting.
She obtained her CPA in the State of Michigan in 2012.
