Police Staff & Command

Cleary University’s Police Staff and Command Program is designed for high-potential law enforcement leaders seeking to elevate their careers and strengthen their command capabilities. Through a blend of academic rigor, leadership development, and real-world application, this 10-week, 400-hour program prepares officers to meet the complex demands of modern policing.

Delivered in partnership with leading public safety professionals, this program blends strategic leadership, operational command, ethics, and community engagement—all taught through applied learning and scenario-based training.

Program Overview

Duration: 400 hours (10 weeks total)
Format: Hybrid (In-person and remote)
Schedule: One week per month, Monday–Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
Location: Cleary University, Livingston Campus, Howell, Michigan

Participants engage in lectures, case studies, simulations, panel discussions, and leadership exercises, culminating in a Capstone Leadership Project that integrates every aspect of command leadership.

Instructional Excellence
