Counseling Services

Cleary counseling recognizes that college students may experience personal stressors that tend to interfere with academic performance as well as their overall health from mental, emotional, and physical perspectives. Cleary counseling assists students in addressing mental and emotional well-being and provides confidential mental health and relational counseling for students at the Livingston Campus Community free of charge. A Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) staffs the Cleary University Counseling Office. Services provided are the following: Counseling consultation, crisis intervention, alcohol/substance abuse consultation, referrals to various external services, and both individual and relationship counseling. Additional services include mental health and wellness education, training, and group process experiences. Counseling at Cleary also focuses specifically on the uniqueness of athletes placing emphasis on mental toughness, focus, and the mentality of sports.

Mr. Chamberlin has provided faculty training on Classroom management, Grading and Feedback, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Stress Mgt. and Emotional Intelligence.
