How to Apply and Use Your Military Benefits
Applying to Cleary University
Requesting Your Military Transcript
Cleary University recognizes college credit for military training and experience. While working towards your undergraduate degree, you may be awarded three semester elective credits for each year of active military service up to a maximum of 15 semester hours. To receive credit for military service, students should submit a copy of the discharge for (DD214). If a review of a student’s military training records indicates there is a potential for greater credit award, copies of the military training records and/or a copy of the transfer or discharge for (DD214) will be submitted to the American Council on Education, Department of Military Evaluations, for a credit recommendation.
