This year, 18 Cleary student athletes were named as 2024 Daktronics NAIA Winter Scholar Athletes.
This honor recognizes student athletes in each of the winter sports who have excelled academically, including men’s basketball, women’s basketball, men’s bowling, women’s bowling, and men’s wrestling.Â
*Track & Field is recognized as part of the spring honors, and ACHA Hockey does not fall under the supervision of the NAIA.*
To qualify as a Daktronics NAIA Scholar Athlete, students must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.5, appear on the eligibility certificate for their sport, and have attended their institution for at least one full year.
Here are Cleary’s winter scholar athletes:
Men’s Basketball: Nick Moore and Chris Williams
Women’s Basketball: Amy Jackson, Riley Merryfield, Mileisha Rodriguez, Taedom Stein, Rylee Thomas, Caitlyn Rayl and Amelia Storm
Men’s Bowling: Corey Goldsmith, Reis Stine, Ethan Parker, Hunter Blackhurst, Howie Hammond and Matthew Radjewski
Women’s Bowling: Samantha Dulz, Amy Jackson and Courtney Witten
