Any student with a completed associate degree will enter Cleary University with junior standing. This expanded transfer policy is designed to save students time and money—removing traditional credit-transfer hurdles and creating a faster pathway to earning a four-year degree.
“This change removes common barriers to finishing a bachelor’s degree and ensures that every student who’s earned an associate degree has a clear, affordable path forward,” said Jeremy Walker, Senior Vice President of Enrollment at Cleary University. “It’s a game-changer for both traditional and non-traditional learners.”
While students may still need to complete additional credits beyond the standard 120 depending on their chosen program, this shift significantly reduces uncertainty and helps students more accurately estimate the time and cost remaining to degree completion.
Supporting Working Adults and Returning Students
Cleary’s new block transfer policy is particularly impactful for working adults and students returning to school after a break. Many of these learners may have previously been told that only a portion of their associate-level coursework would count toward a bachelor’s degree. Under the new policy, those credits may now go much further—bringing students closer to graduation than they thought.
