(HOWELL, MI) Alan Drimmer, PhD, president of Cleary University, is proud to welcome two new members to its Board of Trustees: Vishal Sharma and William Selesky.

Vishal Sharma is Principal for Boston Consulting Group (BCG), a top tier global management consulting firm and the world’s leading advisor on business strategy, operations and talent optimization. BCG has offices in more than 100 cities across 50 countries with annual revenues of $11 billion.

As Principal for the Detroit group, Sharma leads teams of analysts and consultants to bring forward-thinking solutions for clients’ strategic business issues that help empower organizations to grow, build a sustainable and competitive advantage and drive positive societal impact. His thought leadership has led to supply chain operations improvements for major global corporations across various industries that include industrial goods, wholesale distribution, food service and consumer packaged goods. Recently, BCG collaborated with the City of Detroit on its Business Attraction and Jobs Growth Strategy.

Sharma holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from the coveted Faculty of Management Studies college at University of Delhi, India. He also was Captain of the Indian Karate Team for three years.

“Cleary University sets up students for success with its simple, yet distinctively powerful education philosophy that matches what employers seek in prospective employees and leaders,” Sharma finds. “I think Cleary is a role model for other universities in the United States and globally.”

William Selesky, JD, MPA, serves as Corporate Counsel for Amazon in Seattle, Washington. In this position, he manages and leads a team of attorneys supporting environmental, health and safety across hundreds of Amazon’s global sites.

Selesky also is the single legal authority and subject matter expert for Amazon on all environmental, health and safety issues, initiatives and strategies in more than 60 countries. In addition to these roles, he is Amazon’s Counsel for Corporate Security involving legal compliance including data governance and security, and corporate crisis management.

Prior to his position with Amazon, Selesky was Senior Attorney, Assistant Attorney General for the Michigan Department of the Attorney General’s Labor Division in Lansing.

Selesky completed a master’s degree in Public Affairs summa cum laude from the University of Michigan, Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy, in Ann Arbor. He earned his Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law magna cum laude.

“Cleary provides a wealth of resources for students to become successful and effective leaders,” Selesky finds. “The faculty not only is seasoned, but they bring practical workplace knowledge and skills to the classroom further benefiting the student experience.”
