DEGREE PATHWAYS FOR DETROIT AREA POLICE DEPARTMENT EMPLOYEES

Cleary University, in partnership with the Detroit Area Police Departments, have established an education alliance designed with public safety professionals in mind. With key custom degree completion pathway established to maximize your work and life experience. This custom program provides public safety professionals at every stage of their career an opportunity finish what they started and earn a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a concentration in Diversity, Leadership, and Public Safety.

Why Cleary?

Convenient: Classes are designed with you in mind and meet one night per week in six (6) week sessions at a convenient regional location or on the campus of Cleary University.

Affordable: Your maximum annual out-of-pocket cost is only $10,000 for the undergraduate pathway and $12,500 for the graduate Pathway (includes all technology fees and course materials) and can be further reduced with the application of your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on an annual basis.

Custom Design: Knowing that no two public safety professionals are at the same place in their education, Cleary has crafted three custom tracks to help these professionals earn their degrees. 

Credits You Deserve: Understanding learning takes place beyond the classroom Cleary has established a custom prior learning and work life assessment process to help you save time and money towards your degree.

Priority Enrollment and Registration: As a partner, students will receive concierge support to ensure the admissions and enrollment is hassle free.

Team-Oriented: With cohort-based pathways, Detroit Area Police Departments will study and work together throughout their programs of study.

EXPERIENCED PUBLIC SAFETY PROFESSIONALS

Work Experience: 8-12 years
Required Credits: 30 credits

TRACK B


MID-LEVEL PUBLIC SAFETY PROFESSIONALS

Work Experience: 4-7 yrs.
Required Credits: 57 credits

TRACK C


ENTRY-LEVEL PUBLIC SAFETY PROFESSIONALS

Work Experience: 1-3 yrs.
Required Credits: 81 credits
