The role of the student-athlete at the collegiate level is significant and positive for the Cleary University campus community. Cleary University is an institution comprised of competitors – individuals who understand that to challenge oneself and to compete is to BETTER oneself. On the field of competition – as in everything we do – we strive to compete at the highest level and provide student-athletes with the opportunity to develop the leadership skills necessary to thrive in their respective careers and lives.
Athletic and Academic Excellence Scholarship are awarded at the discretion of each respective varsity sport coach, Cleary University academic eligibility criteria, and in compliance with the National Intercollegiate Athletic Association (N.A.I.A.).
This is a $4,500 competitive scholarship awarded to a new undergraduate student enrolled full-time at Cleary University, who meets the requirements of documented community service, proof of membership in his/her high school business professional organization, and is able to provide a letter of recommendation from a high school teacher or advisor. Applicants must have a minimum high school GPA of 3.0 and submit an essay with their scholarship application.
Dependents* of Cleary University graduates are eligible to receive a 20 percent grant toward tuition, after all other grants and scholarships have been applied, in a degree-seeking program. Students must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 and successfully complete the term. Grants may be removed in cases where a student withdraws or fails the class.
Cleary University partners with a number of businesses and organizations to foster continuous education and improvement. As a Strategic Business Partner (SBP), all eligible employees and their dependents will receive a 20 percent tuition grant towards a degree, after all other grants and scholarships have been applied. Students must meet Cleary University eligibility requirements and provide verification of SBP membership.
This a $1,500 competitive scholarship awarded to a continuing student in the Cleary University College of Undergraduate Studies. Club membership or team captain, volunteer in two Cleary events, minimum GPA of 3.0 and scholarship application and essay.
Cleary University is offering DECA scholarships in the amount of $20,000, $10,000 and $4,000.
The $4,000 scholarship is awarded to a new undergraduate student who enrolls full-time at Cleary.
Eligibility for the scholarship is as follows:
The student will receive $1,000 a year for four years.
In addition to the $4,000 scholarship awarded to an incoming undergraduate, Cleary also offers a $20,000 scholarship ($5,000 a year) to a student who meets all of the above listed criteria and has held a national officer position or placed first at a national or international DECA competition.
Cleary also offers a $10,000 DECA scholarship ($2,500 a year) each year to one student who has met the same criteria as the $4,000 scholarship and has held a state officer position or has advanced to a national or international competition.
Students have the power to do anything they aspire to, through a dynamic partnership between Lake Trust Credit Union and Cleary University. A limited number of life-changing full tuition scholarships for associate’s (two-year), bachelor’s (four-year) and master’s degree programs are available to qualified candidates. These highly coveted scholarships are awarded annually to eligible students who meet specific criteria through the Lake Trust Foundation and Cleary University to help them fulfill their career aspirations. *There is a limit of one (1) non-athletic/housing scholarship per student. In the event that you qualify for more than one (1) institutional scholarship, you will be given the scholarship that is most beneficial to you.
