Cleary University wrestling coach Matt Santos has announced that the program will be hosting a summer skills camp next month.
The camp, which is open to anyone going into grades 6-12, will take place on Sunday, July 24, in Cleary’s Wellness Center (955 Grand Oaks Dr, Howell, MI 48843). The cost is $110 per wrestler, and will run from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM, with lunch being provided to the wrestlers in between sessions.
Campers will get instruction from Michigan State University wrestlers Cam Caffey, Layne Malczewski, and Chase Saldate, with drills and coaching focusing on hand fighting, control ties, and setups to a takedown from the neutral, top, and bottom positions.
