Jon Arking joined Cleary in August of 2020 as adjunct faculty, teaching English labs and Public Speaking. Known to most by his radio nom de guerre Jon King, he has been the News Director at WHMI Radio since 2002, where he also co-hosts Mike & Jon in the Morning. He has been a broadcaster for more than 30 years, as well as an author, having written and published the children’s book, “Ishkadoodle: A Boy, His Vacuum & Their Outerspace Adventure.”

Jon is a graduate of the Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts and Siena Heights University.
