David Victor joined Cleary University staff in early March of 2021 as the Sports Information Director. Victor works within the athletics program and some of his many roles include: taking charge of staffing for sporting events, maintaining and running the website, and overseeing social media accounts.
Before working at Cleary, Victor worked at Glen Oaks Community College. There, he served as the Head Men’s Basketball Coach and as the college’s Admissions Representative. Victor also previously worked as a History and Social Science teacher in Metro Orlando, FL. There, he coached Basketball, Golf and Waterpolo. Victor graduated from Wayne State University with a Bachelors of Science, majoring in Psychology.
Victor says “The Cleary experience is something you won’t find at other institutions. Here you have intimate, personal relationships with students and faculty. Everyone cares about everyone, and people are willing to go the extra mile for each other.”
Victor’s office is located in the Wellness Center. David welcomes walk-ins or appointments made by email. He says if he’s not at his office, he is watching a sports game on campus where you’re encouraged to join him to watch Cleary get some wins!
