Cleary Commons

The newly renovated Cleary Commons can provide you with an elegant and affordable experience for parties up to 175 people. Our caring and professional staff will help to make your special day everything you had envisioned.

Clancy’s makes every effort to thoroughly train our staff. However, ingredients and nutritional content may change due to recipe substitutions, manufacturing changes or other outlying factors.

If you have allergies or specific ingredient concerns or require information on a menu item not listed, please consult our chefs or dining hall managers. Our chefs and dining managers are visible during service to answer your questions or address your needs.

Clancy’s Cafe is not a gluten-free environment, items indicated “GF” have gluten free ingredients. Clancy’s makes every effort to thoroughly train our staff. Café Operating Rules

  1. Pricing:
    • $9 for Cleary Faculty/Staff’s personal use and for non-meal plan Students.
    • $14 for all other external customers who enter. Soup/ salad only is $6.
  2. Only students who have paid for the meal plan and others who are paying full price at the door are allowed into the cafeteria. Friends will have to wait outside. No entry for free drinks.
  3. Only 1 large and 1 small box will be given out upon request in place of a plate.
  4. Each student must use their own card and cannot use their plan to feed other students since the meal plan is non-transferable.
  5. All meal cards must be handed to the cashier to swipe and verify.
  6. No return visit for more food, drinks and desserts.
  7. No entry when the cafeteria is closed. This allows the staff to break down, clean, and reset the space for the next meal period.
  8. The student Code of Conduct applies to the cafeteria. This includes:
    • health-code standards such as wearing shirts and shoes inside the cafeteria,
    • professional conduct around the staff and other students,
    • adhering to the policies and procedures inside the cafeteria.
