James Sundberg, a chartered global management accountant and certified public accountant, teaches accounting and taxation classes at all levels at Cleary University.
Sundberg earned a Bachelor of Science in economics from Oakland University in Rochester, Mich., and a Master in Accounting from Walsh College in Troy, Mich. He works as a full-time senior tax analyst at Thomson Reuters in Ann Arbor, Mich., where he specializes in development of trust, estate, and exempt tax software development. He also teaches part-time at Eastern University in Ypsilanti, Mich.
In Cougar country, he finds much to appreciate.
“I love the students. I love the online options offered to students. I love the extra mile that the faculty is willing to go for the students,” he says.
Sundberg believes the business education Cleary offers is invaluable.
“Everyone can benefit from a business education,” he says.
