In addition to serving as director of corporate and career development at Cleary University, Amy Lynne Denton taught business, management, selling, internship and career development courses.
Denton earned a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from Western Michigan University and a Master of Science Administration in business leadership from Central Michigan University. She has worked as district manager for Reliant Pharmaceuticals and as major accounts corporate sales manager for Voicestream Wireless/Deutsche Telekom. Most recently, she served as director of fundraising for the Howell Nature Center.
At Cleary, Denton assists students with all aspects of finding the right career.
“My favorite part about working at Cleary is to witness the growth of our students in maturity and professionalism over their four years with us. They are an amazing student body,” she says.
Denton believes business education is the backbone of all career ventures.
“It is pivotal in any facet in life,” she says.
