Financial Aid

Nearly 85% of Cleary University students receive some form of financial aid.

The Office of Financial Aid encourages all students to apply even if they think they are not eligible, as assistance is available on a need and non-need basis. A FASFA application must be completed to be considered for Cleary University institutional grants and scholarships.

Step One:

Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.

Step Two:

Apply for an FSA User ID at https://fsaid.ed.gov. Both the student and at least one parent needs an FSA User ID.

Step Three:

Enter 002246 as the code for Cleary University on the FAFSA form. For students planning to attend a Michigan college or university, a private college or university should be listed as their first college choice, as the State of Michigan considers the first college choice when determining eligibility for a Michigan Tuition Grant (MTG). Be sure to review and submit and that’s it! We will respond with an award offer in a few weeks.
